This policy explains how the SilkGate (丝路门户) website collects, uses and protects personal data you submit through it. It has been prepared in line with Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 94-V of 21 May 2013 “On Personal Data and Their Protection”.

Data we collect
Only what you voluntarily enter in the enquiry form: name, company, position, phone or WeChat ID, email, area of interest, description of your task and timing. We do not ask for ID numbers, banking or other sensitive data — please do not enter them in the form.
Purposes
To respond to your enquiry, prepare an initial proposal, arrange calls and meetings and, with your consent, to contact relevant partners about your project. We do not use your data for mass mailings unrelated to your enquiry.
Legal basis
Your consent, given by ticking the box before submitting the form. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
Storage and retention
Enquiries are stored on the site’s protected server and in our working communication channels, accessible only to authorised persons. Data is kept until the purpose is achieved, normally no longer than three years, or deleted after you withdraw consent, unless the law requires otherwise.
Sharing with third parties
Only where necessary to handle your enquiry and with your consent — with our group companies (law firm and customs company) and relevant partners (accountants, logistics companies, factories), limited to what the task requires. If you send your enquiry via WeChat, WhatsApp, Telegram or email, those services’ policies also apply. Cross-border transfers are carried out under Article 16 of the Law, including on the basis of your consent.
Security
We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected access and least-privilege access.
Your rights
You may ask whether we process your data, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with the competent authority under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. To exercise these rights, email 0001kzzzz@gmail.com; we will reply within the time limits set by law.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not use advertising cookies. If analytics services (Baidu Tongji, Yandex Metrica or Google Analytics) are added later, they will be used only to measure traffic, and this policy will be updated.

We may update this policy when our activities or the law change. The current version and its date are published on this page.
